Hi there, my name is Simon. I'm a UX Designer (even though I look like an author in the picture) who is currently based in Malmö, studying Interaction Design for my Bachelor's degree at Malmö University.
My background is in service. I have always had a passion for helping people and seeing beyond what people initially think they need. As we said in the travel industry, DLX (det lilla extra), which means that service is not only what people expect but something above that. I take this philosophy with me in my work as a designer and want to look beyond the 'ordinary' to provide users with experiences that will not only make the service seem easy but also enjoyable.
While working at Connectitude, I found myself very interested in the customer journey and how the company's sales flow could be improved. Some of my colleagues who worked within sales and I hosted a workshop with members from development and management. Together, we created a new workflow that resulted in a streamlined approach to conducting sales, which provided better solutions for customers and ultimately increased sales.
This mindset is something I aim to bring to every company: understanding what resources we possess and how we can utilize them optimally.
What I can offer you is not just the services of an ordinary UX/UI designer, but also an evaluation of our business practices and how we can streamline them to better align with the market.
During my time in sales, I collaborated closely with the development team to address various issues. This experience taught me the significance of communication among different roles and departments within any company, particularly as a designer. It's about discovering possibilities within the product's scope.
